Honestly, I wish I had gone much sooner. My work puts me in front of people, so I had been looking for a completely private salon. But everyone I saw on social media was so beautiful that I kept hesitating — "is it really all right for someone like me, who isn't much of a beauty, to go?" As others have written, I have been to hotel spas and high-end salons myself, but the massage at MoonTed is in a different class. It changed what I thought a massage was. The change in my face and body line was wonderful too, but what moved me most was the kindness — the generosity of spirit — that I felt from AKI. You can say anything, and somehow anything you say is accepted. Reading the reviews, I had wondered why this place has so many devoted fans. After meeting him, I understood. Next time I want to talk about the darker parts of myself as well. lol

I have been to spas at luxury hotels and to members-only salons, but MoonTed is the only one where I felt the level was fundamentally different. There is nothing flashy about it — a very quiet, immaculate space where I could forget the clutter of everyday life. AKI, the therapist, is a gentleman whose sense of distance and whose manner are beautifully refined, with a thoughtful kindness running through everything. Simply being in the same room was healing, and I felt I could safely leave everything to him. The treatment itself was, honestly, so comfortable that I spent most of it half asleep. You feel cared for at every moment, and body and mind loosen naturally. Every part of the massage technique is superb. Even the face treatment, which was done almost casually, left my jawline visibly firmer afterwards — I could feel that it was truly working. MoonTed is less a place anyone can drop into than a salon quietly visited by people who can tell the difference in a person and in a technique, so I found myself thinking it might be better as a members-only salon. Perhaps it isn't a good thing for it to spread through reviews like this one. I wanted to express my gratitude, and that is why I have written.
This is the first time I have ever written anything like a review. That is how moved I was. Just as MoonTed's fans have written in other reviews, it felt so good that my mind and body were completely healed. I hardly know how to explain it. The technique, of course, but also AKI's warmth — his charm, perhaps — meant that simply being with him I felt safe enough to talk about anything. It felt as though he lives in another world, and I thought that someone like AKI must be a true genius. Even though this is a salon for wealthy and celebrity guests, he treated an ordinary girl like me exactly the same. Thank you. Next time I would like to book a longer course.
When I first started coming, MoonTed was members-only and I believe only certain guests could book, but it seems anyone can book now. When someone of AKI's calibre runs a salon, the number of devoted fans grows and I worry about the trouble that can bring, so personally I would like it to go back to being members-only as it was before. I was a little startled to see articles written about AKI on note — is that what it's called? — and on blogs. The massage technique, the hospitality and the space are all a class above the spa of a luxury hotel, and AKI is a gentleman I hold in deep respect. I hope to be in your care for many years to come, so please don't push yourself too hard.
The atmosphere of the salon is calm and I was able to relax completely. A quiet, spotless space, polite and gentle hospitality, and wonderful technique — it made me so happy! I was far stiffer than I had realised! Having a professional work on you from time to time really does make everyday life easier. I will certainly go again. Thank you. ^^ If you like meridian work or massage, and you are visiting Japan or living here, this is a shop worth going to at least once. It is a clean one-person salon and the owner is very kind. You choose and blend the oils yourself, and the style of massage is different from Korea's — more delicate. It is between Shibuya and Shinjuku, so it is easy to visit once your day's plans are over. If you don't speak Japanese, you can communicate in English. You may think the price is high, but as someone who often has hotel massages, considering the quality it feels rather inexpensive. Highly recommended.
An upscale salon near Yoyogi Park with a striking number of high ratings. Stress, hormone balance, straight neck, face and body line... I must have arrived with any number of complaints, and yet every time I go, the sheer comfort of it leaves both body and mind in order. The handsome therapist's skill goes without saying, but I think his warm-hearted character is just as much of the appeal. Sometimes I wake to the sound of my own sleeping breath and am surprised to find I had drifted off... Proof that you can entrust your body to him with complete peace of mind. At MoonTed you become beautiful, and you are healed. I think there are a great many people who look forward to going to this salon.
