Why Being 'Perfect' is Boring: The Future of Beauty in the AI Era.

Ms. JIJI, a lovely guest from Korea, visited me on a quick 2-day trip! She came by a friend's referral. I am so grateful she chose MoonTed for her limited time. 🙏
She is a classic beauty, but she had a surprising concern: "I want more individuality."
We discussed an interesting topic: "Is the value of being 'beautiful' decreasing?"
The reason is simple.
Social media is full of AI beauties, and plastic surgery has become very common.
People now realize that "money can buy beauty," and we are getting used to seeing perfect faces everywhere.
It’s like "Beauty Inflation."
This is similar to how AI is reducing the value of high IQ or elite education.
In the future, AI and robots will possess "perfect beauty."
So, what will be left for us humans?
I believe it is "Human Noise"—our flaws, quirks, and awkwardness.
The things that make us human.
Some might say, "Robots are still far in the future, right?"
But with photo apps and casual cosmetic procedures, we are already living in that process of change today.
That’s why I felt Ms. JIJI's desire for "individuality" was a very smart intuition about the future.
My advice to her was:
"You are already beautiful. So, why not focus 100% on kindness and compassion?"
That human warmth is something neither AI nor surgery can ever create.
It is the ultimate "individuality." ✨
